The excitement begins the moment drivers take the wheel and encounter Midway’s new UltraGrafX™ texture mapped video display. This fully interactive tree-dimensional video system delivers high-resolution detail and complete 360 degree immersion. Players have never seen anything like it.

Nor have they felt anything like the Cruis’n USA tree-axis full-motion system. It duplicates every curve, crest and crash of the 2650-mile-journey: full-throttle bumps and jumps, heart-stopping collisions, twisting turns, skids and breakneck acceleration. TO call it a joyride would definitely be an understatement.

Whether driven alone or linked with other Cruis’n USA machines, players will encounter a variety of challenges. And from San Francisco to Washington DC, the fourteen stages of Cruis’n USA demand high-speed performance.

Players compete against nine other vehicles, and only by passing checkpoints in the allotted time do they receive the extra seconds needed to complete that race. Of course should they win in any race, operator-selectable free play of the next stage is a well-earned reward.

And at each finish line, a detailed map charts player progress.

The race can be initiated at any point on the route.
